Why Join Southern Colorado Veterinary Internal Medicine (SCVIM)
At Southern Colorado Veterinary Internal Medicine (SCVIM), you'll join a team that has built its reputation around excellence in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology for more than 25 years. As a Medical Oncologist, you'll work alongside two established oncologists and six board-certified internists in a collaborative, highly specialized environment where consultation, mentorship, and teamwork are central to everyday practice.
SCVIM was founded and continues to be led by internists who recognize the critical relationship between Internal Medicine and Oncology. Our oncology service is deeply integrated into the hospital's culture and clinical approach, providing access to advanced diagnostics, innovative treatment options, and emerging therapies, including electrochemotherapy. Here, you'll have the support to manage challenging cases while benefiting from the collective expertise of more than 100 years of board-certified specialist experience.
What truly sets SCVIM apart is our people. We believe exceptional patient care starts with taking care of our team. Our hospital enjoys remarkably low turnover, dedicated support staff, and a culture built on mentoring, collaboration, and professional growth. You'll work with approximately 50 team members dedicated exclusively to supporting Internal Medicine and Oncology patients, as well as dedicated ICU nurses focused on providing outstanding care for hospitalized cases.
