Medical City Healthcare seeks an RN Oncology to deliver evidence-based, compassionate care to adult cancer patients. In this acute care role, you will administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies, perform thorough assessments, manage complex symptoms, and coordinate multidisciplinary care. You’ll educate patients and families, advocate for safety, and contribute to quality initiatives. Provide comprehensive oncology nursing care to adult patients across the cancer care continuum
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive treatments per protocol and safety standards
Perform ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Monitor and manage treatment-related side effects, escalating concerns promptly
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-care
Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and adhere to regulatory requirements
Support quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and evidence-based practice
Precept and mentor newer nurses and contribute to unit-based education
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, tumor boards, and family conferences as needed

Prior oncology or hematology nursing experience strongly preferred
