Medical City Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN Oncology professional to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide comprehensive oncology nursing care, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and complex patient education. You will collaborate closely with oncologists and an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate personalized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and respond to oncologic emergencies. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting patients and families through challenging cancer journeys while contributing to ongoing quality and safety initiatives.
Deliver evidence-based oncology nursing care to adult patients.
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive treatments safely.
Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EHR systems.
Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams on care plans.
Educate patients and families on treatment, side effects, and self-care.
Manage central lines and follow strict infection control protocols.
Respond promptly to oncologic emergencies and changes in condition.
Support quality improvement and best-practice initiatives on the unit.
Precept and mentor new staff and support a collaborative team culture.
Uphold regulatory, safety, and ethical standards in all care activities.
