Medical City Healthcare seeks an experienced RN Oncology to deliver compassionate, evidence-based cancer care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will administer chemotherapy and supportive treatments, closely monitor complex oncology patients, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, education, and advocating for safety and quality. Provide specialized oncology nursing care to adult patients across the cancer care continuum.
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive treatments following safety protocols.
Monitor patient status, manage symptoms, and respond to treatment-related complications.
Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and self-care.
Maintain accurate documentation in EHRs and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Support clinical protocols, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Precept and mentor new staff, contributing to a collaborative unit culture.
