Description
Medical City Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN Oncology professional to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to adult cancer patients in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you’ll administer chemotherapy and related therapies, perform complex assessments, manage treatment side effects, and respond to oncologic emergencies. You’ll collaborate closely with oncologists, pharmacists, and an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe, high-quality care and clear patient education. Administer and monitor high-risk medications, including chemo and supportive therapies, per established protocols and safety standards
Perform comprehensive assessments, manage symptoms, and respond rapidly to oncologic emergencies
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, symptom reporting, and home care needs
Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR and support quality and safety initiatives
Participate in patient rounds, tumor boards, and continuous education to stay current with evidence-based oncology practice
