Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring night shifts and strong dysrhythmia skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Resource Staff Pool with float assignments to PCU, Medical/Surgical, Oncology, Surgical M/S, Progressive Care, and Emergency Room hold units
- Patient population varies and includes telemetry, medical/surgical, oncology, progressive care, and ER hold cases
- 12-hour night shifts from 6:45pm to 7:15am
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Cerner EMR is used; experience is preferred
- Orientation is provided on a biweekly basis
- Schedule requests may be approved at the manager's discretion
- Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment
- Reliable personal vehicle is recommended due to limited public transportation options
Requirements
- Active VT or compact RN license required or must be applied for upon acceptance
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Dysrhythmia testing is required
- Experience in telemetry, PCU, medical/surgical, and ER hold settings preferred
- Must be willing and able to float between different units
