Position Overview
Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) and the CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our dedicated team of pediatric subspecialists. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position that offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care for children with a wide range of pulmonary conditions in a collaborative, academic medical center environment.
About the Role
Diagnose, treat, and manage pediatric patients with acute and chronic pulmonary disorders, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, congenital lung disease, and sleep-disordered breathing.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric subspecialists, respiratory therapists, and nursing staff.
Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative services at CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital.
Engage in teaching opportunities with residents and medical students through CAMC’s Institute for Academic Medicine (affiliated with WVU School of Medicine).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research (if desired).
Qualifications
MD or DO degree required.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology.
Eligible for an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
Strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and teamwork.
