| Job Summary | The Markey Cancer Center Infusion department at UKHC is currently seeking a Nurse Team Leader with primary patient care duties in adult Ambulatory Chemotherapy and Infusion. This position will work closely with the Nurse Manager, Practice Manager, and Medical Director to oversee the daily activities of the oncology infusion department, provide continuity of care, maintain appropriate staffing and scheduling, implement quality improvement measures, and ensure patient safety standard adherence. At least 1 year of adult chemotherapy administration experience is required. This includes: initiating actions for resolutions, maintaining nursing standards of care and participating in updating policies and procedures related to cancer care. In addition, this position will: be responsible for ensuring adequate nursing staff and clinical support staff are available to care for patients, work with staff to develop schedules and coverage plans, and act as a clinical and systems resource for staff. IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered). |
